Holly was engaged three times. Her first marriage was to actor Danny Quinn. In 1991 they married, but two years later, they divorced. The year 1994 was the first time she met Jim Carrey during auditions for Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. The two actors didn't land the role but developed a connection while they were filming Dumb and Dumber. In 1996, they married. The marriage lasted less than an year and then they divorced in 1997 In 2001, she was married to Francis Greco, a Canadian-born financial banker.The couple adopted three children, sons Henry, George, and Alexander Holly-Greco. Her status changed to Canadian after 2008, when she was engaged to Greco. The couple split in 2014. Holly and her children reside within Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant and their respective families created the A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as the "boy full of goals, dreams and plans". At 14 years old, the boy had travelled across Europe and Central America. He also resided in New York City as well as Los Angeles. This gave an interest to architectural archaeology, archaeology and history.
Alaina Suddeth was born in Rossville, Georgia, on 8 November 1994 to Kristy Suddeth and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina's father, a Tennessee-based process technician who began singing at the age of three. After a vacation lasting a whole year and a year-long break from school, she joined the kids choir. Apart from singing at restaurants and in the church as well, she sang at holidays, family reunions and other gatherings, as well as anywhere outside of a 30 mile range. Alaina was eight year old when she took home The Southern Stars Pageant's Talent Competition. In the following year, she won the contest for talent of children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. She performed there until she reached the age of 12 old, when she won a competition which allowed her to perform on the main stage of the Riverbend Festival. In the year she turned 10 years old, she went to Orlando to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. She won the event over 1,500 competitors. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's children's group. Alaina first went to Nashville when she was 12 years old. The singer also appeared in local bars such as Tootsie's in Broadway. in 2009 Alaina was the first winner of the WinniSTAR youth talent contest held at the Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition to singing, Alaina wrote several songs like Leaving and The Set Me Free. Alaina was motivated to sing because of her aunt, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Alaina was a CiC's Pizza employee prior to joining Idol. She went to Lakeview-FortOglethorpe High School located in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, in which she played cheerleading.
